Well I didn't get caught twice in a row.. they just gave me two reckless in one.... I hired some 2k lawyer, wrote letters to judge and officer, went all around work, school, wherever, got letters from people there stating that I was of good character and that it was an isolated event, and went to the improvement course, and that's about it, I got a slap on the wrist compared to what could have happened... might have had something to do with the ammount of character letters too, one from the owner of a local factory, a police officer, a few of my teachers from HS and college, ect. ect. oh yeah... and about all you can do is hang on too your seat from that point on... I'm the youngest person I know with an ulser and I can whole heartedly say it was from the stress of this whole... situation... just enjoy your days untill your court date... hah... just try to do everything you can, aside from crying in court, to let em' know your an idiot and you're sorry...

I spent a weekend in jail for 107/55... and that was with a great attorney that was quite expensive. Unfortunately, I've had a few other speeding tickets, so that was the best they would do. The judge I appeared in front of normally gives a 30 day minimum sentence for such speeds.
...and just so you know, jail is horrible.

Damn you owned yourself. Maybe if you load your car with TNT, blow it up, show the judge the vid, and tell the two judges you have retired from driving; maybe than they will only tag team the jail for 30 days.
Triple digits, pretty much gives the officer the right to insert your driver's license in a paper shredder, in front of you, while still parked on the side of the highway.
At least you went out in a blaze of glory.

The amount of shit talking in this thread is funny.
Every time you romp on 2nd, hit 3rd... hit 4th in your car.. your doing reckless aswell. So everyone needs to shut the fuck up.
Yes. I've gotten busted for reckless. Yes I went to jail.
I've learned my lesson. I'm on a restricted license for 6 months. I thank the judge for that aswell.
Same...
Cornbread and sweet tea are on point though. Sweatmeat is the regular.

Most of us will never learn if we don't go through something like this. It certainly slowed me down... I used to think I was invincible, but I quickly learned that was not the case. I'm just glad it was a set of handcuffs instead of a set of surgeons that tought me my lesson. I'm alive to talk about it, and I learned a lesson.
Hopefully anyone else that goes through this experience will genuinely learn a lesson from it too.
