Boost & 3.6 VR6?
Because he had a turbo 24v and it took a lot to get it right - stand alone.
Moriar, is your car awd? And which tranny did you get? I don't know if someone will have an updated program for the DSG to get beyond the programing that limits torque.
As for the manifold, I'd try to get one made like EIP uses. It's just a y-pipe between the two factory exhuast manifolds with a flange for the turbo. If it were my passat, it'd stay stock (maybe a chip and exhaust).

Don't mess with that car, its too nice to be turbo'd and possibly get blown up. Save up for an older Jetta, GTI, or shit even those mid 90's passats with the VR6 and turbo one of those.

Greaser makes great stuff from what I remember but you might want to contact Don R on Vortex.. or get in touch with Steve and he can put you in touch with someone. I haven't talked to any of the OG's in quite some time.
Do NOT DO NOT give any business to EIP. I'm not opposed to doing a turbo VR6. The potential is there for big numbers and a really fun ride. Mine was a blast when I finally got it running right. However, trust me when I say that you don't want to be "the first". I was one of the first to do the stuff I did to my car and it took forever to get it all right. Add the extra complexity of a smaller engine bay, AWD, auto tranny, and a low production number brand new motor and you're really talking nightmares. My advice to you would be to either leave it stock, or wait to see if VF puts out a SCer for it.
Again, DO NOT do ANY business with EIP. They are far and away the worst company I've ever dealt with. I gave them chance after chance to fix their mistakes. Rich at EIP is a great salesman and will make you think they're the greatest company out there for a VW. They aren't. They are in my opinion, the worst.
