She was selling the car as a returned favor, not as a business transaction through her dealership. She told me she couldn't get the car sold, and then sold it for well over what she told me she sold it for. She didn't call me to talk to the buyer, and didn't even bother to tell me the car was sold.
I decided she couldn't sell the car in a timely fashion so I went to pick up the vehicle... when I discovered she had sold it from under me without contacting me.
So I have the title still and the person apparently has my car without the title.
At any rate, I hope this guy isn't driving it when the police locate it. It's not his fault... he thought he was making a legitimate purchase through the shady dealer. If I were him, I'd press charges against her for fraud as well.
