have you looked at it? that many owners is not a good sign most of the time, but there are times when circumstances require selling a vehicle shortly after purchase.
carfax is good and all, but from firsthand experience, i know they can be not all knowing.
a GOOD look and a sharp eye can find alot that Carfax wont. of course, if its not local....therein lies the problem.

i dont really understand why people decide to get a truck instead of another car. you cant have fun like u would in a car, unless you have plans for modding it to go off roadin.
I also have a 1969 Nova I plan on restoring/building. The car doesn't even need a full restoration. I can drive it right now and it has a built 350 in it, but it's not that fast...it's just kind of quick.
