lol, too fake? i'm not saying it's not but from your reasons:

1. possibly doctored but the part IS straight. Any shadow cast from that distance will be pretty similar.

2. possibly but too hard to tell, still mesh

3. Shoot any 15 year old glass at that angle, you will see refraction.
