finished up some small things ready to go wheeling next weekend

 

So, my ugly duckling is starting to get a little sexier. Wheels are 15x8 with something like a -16 backspacing, and gives a little too much of an aggressive stance to it imo. BUT, the more I look at the stance they give my XJ, the more I like them. The tires are 31x10.50 Procomp XTreme A/Ts and are fantastic. They shed mud fantastically, and are quiet and comfortable.

Honestly, thinking about taking off the Rough Country stickers, as they don't look as good as I thought they would (not gonna lie, got a little drunk and put them on).

Of course, when I put the new wheels and tires on, my fender flares on the front decided they didn't need to remain attached to the vehicle. Still trying to find a way to remount them, but the new tires are fantastic. And, obviously I still need to take the bumper off, sand it down, and paint it, just waiting for the time to do it.

 

New wheels and tires finally arrived yesterday.
