I hate the vast majority of the new age stance, drift, hoonigan, stickerbombing, fitment that smashes your fenders, swaggots in general. Ya know...i actually have a soft spot for zero fucks given drift missiles. Something that was put together for no other reason but to be a track slut and has no intentions of ever looking good so long as it serves it`s purpose.

Same goes for absolutely fucked track cars. I did have a crx at one point that was an abomination to look at but was meerly tacked together and stripped to fuck just to be a budget track ride. We`re talking primer, Lexan everything, home made front and rear diffusers, gutted and hole sawed beyond belief, wide ass steelies on slicks and some over fenders lol. It looked like a zip tied together catastrophe but it was a bad little bitch for the very very short time it was in one piece.

I can`t accurately describe how much of a bucket it was but it was one of those things where i just tried to step away from the whole stigma of hondas and just tried to enjoy it for what it was....A hoped up tin can with a nasty little GSR an a half way decent suspension underneath that i could literally set on fire and not give a shit. There are remnants of it throughout my old FS ads but i`m pretty sure i deleted most the pics from my photobucket since it wasn`t anything nice to look at.

 

I had an orange fox body like that. Well it was like 6 colors but mostly fucked up orange. Total piece of shit but it was fast for being built as cheap as possible. I enjoy things like that when people don't try to glorify it as a master piece of machinery and just pummel it like it should be.

I think I'm gonna do this with the Miata. It needs a paint job and I thought about maaco but I might vinyl wrap it or rattle can something on it instead. I'm kind of digging the warbird look ever since seeing that 300Z. Might do a shark one or give it the F-14 paint job or something. Keep it cheap and keep it fun. The only thing on that thing that is gonna cost shit is the roll bar, suspension and wheel/tire setup. I want a track car that I can have fun with knowing that I can slam it into a wall without losing a massive amount of money and chip/ding it up without giving a fuck.

 

Its an on going inside joke with me and the few people who come to my house about stenciling shark face on their cars, bike tanks etc.

Watheduece has a miata ive been threatening to do one on.

Edit: looks like we are putting one on the cooper since it`s had front end damage and kind of a over priced bucket at this point.

 

My Integra is about to be road worthy again.

If you are like me, and want a car with a uniform color, just plastidip it. You can get an entire kit for $450...and then anytime you want to change it in the future...it's like a couple hundred bucks. Take your time and it comes out quite nice.

When you consider the cars we want to mess with are worth maybe $1k tops...there is no need for a real paint job. Mine is white, with quite a bit of black primer/sealer from some bodywork that was done.

 

Oh, mine is not gonna have a 'real' paint job. I did a little body work with bondo on a shitty car and I was actually able to make the paint come out pretty good. It would basically be what I can pull off with masking and rattle cans, and then buff it to make it shine. I mean, this shit is rattle canned and it looks fine. I just don't have that kind of artistic talent, which is where it will be tough for me.

Again, I get a lot of flack...because it's an old stock DA. However, it will have the right suspension, a set of 225/45/17 Azenis on CCW Classic's, and will be loud.

That is just as fun sometimes as a silly fast car.
