Freaking.love this thread. An old bug is still top of the list on my project car list.

Finally got the bug on all fours to see how the front setup worked. Still needs some tweeking to make it perfect. Soon the body will come off the pan to do the trans. raise and rear setup. Enjoy.

Can you extend that arm a little to get directly over the center axis of the air bag?

The arm is fixed in the length and position it is in. I will be moving the tabs on the upper bag plate more towards the center, and move the hole on the bottom bracket back some. With such a small bag i have ample room.

ok noob input. Why dont you make a peice that uses the bolts on the bag and welds to support arm, like two hockey sticks back to back?

I believe that he's using that one bolt to pivot the arm.

Excuse my inexperience with bagging, but do I understand this right?

I believe the body attaches to the bag using the other two bolt holes on the bag right? That's why the bolt to the suspension on the top plate of the bag is off center (the pivoting swing-arm type connection). The body when it is installed will even out the bag causing it to fill straight up and not warp it?

That's crazy how you removed the body like it was nothing. Are all bugs like that?
