i have a lp d44. most the parts im buying arent stock things.
plus it looks like yours is ttb? or are you swapping to solid?

 

Yeaaa you're right it is a ttb. I'm not doing a solid swap just yet. Need to get the rig able to go down the road first before doing an axle swap.

A buddy of mine is giving me his 3rd member out of his dana 44 that already has the 4.56 gears set in it. He is doing a SAS so he doesn't need it anymore. I just had to give him my 4.56 gears and a new carrier and I got to pass up on the headache of re-gearing

 

So any of you guys have a front axle setup for a 86 Ford f150??? I don't care if it's TTB or whatever. The truck is 2wd an not used very much however, we take it down to the river and wouldn't mind driving it in the snow to get around so 4wd would work better. It's a family passed down truck so we won't ever get rid of it so I'm not in a huge hurry to convert it over.....just seeing what you guys have

 

I'll keep an eye out on my bronco forums..i know that the 150 and broncos are easily interchangable.

 

I am VERY tempted to buy it..
