Description: its a 87 mr2 5spd..not really sure how many miles on the motor...motor runs strong..trans is strong..has a few small problems..(crack in the windsheild on passenger side, doors only open from the outside, misc trim from the rear window is missing, stock oem sideskirts are missing.) just had body work done and had all rust removed...has new starter,battery, and 2 new front tires...really looking for ae86 or ae85 preferrably hatch..(but im not picky) the only reason why im even wanting to trade is b/c i need backseats and dont want to leave toyota..or rwd or the 4age motor

not really looking to sell...but if i do i want $1600obo i paid $1000 to have the car fixed...and body work done to remove rust..and put on other parts on the motor...and i paid $800 for the car

 

if i trade u the mr2 for the celica...how much extra cash on top would you want? asking b/c your car is in better shape

 

you could always get an ae92. They had the better red top 4age. With as popular as Initial D got you arent going to find a good condition 86 for the trade of your car. You might get lucky and get a sr5 but not a gts.

 

doesnt matter sr5 or gts...i just want a damn ae85/6

 

and if i settle for a ae92 has to be gts (only issue with it is...not rwd...however ive heard theres a 4wd tranny conversion to where u can disable the front axels and make it rwd not sure about it tho)

 

Well that does matter. If you get an Sr5 and want to put a 4AGE in it you are looking to spend another $2000 just for the swap. Not to mention finding parts to do it isnt going to be easy, youll need the fuel lines and long with the fuel basket among other things to complete the swap.
