Seems like the 48's are gaining popularity. Sportsters are a lot of fun. Just remember when you are riding it, it's not going to feel, handle, or brake like the ZX-6R.

+plus its heavier and has about half the hp of a ZX-6R, but other than that its looks great for riding up to the local bar and back.

The Sportster 1200's have very good power.

I rode a Nightster a couple months back and was blown away by how much torque it had. Fun bike, just not comfortable (to me) for any great distance.

You were blown away by a 13.8 1/4 mile bike? Try riding something besides a harley.

My only street time has been on dual sports, so you're probably right.

But I've ridden just about every 2 stroke dirt bike there is, and those things pull once you're up to the 250's and higher.
