Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
His carb was out of whack. Don't really know the history of the motor so, I am having him change the oil, trans oil, air filter, and spark plug. I still believe that his shortened stock exhaust is screwy.
If the person who shortened it messed up something internally it could be restricting flow or something along those lines. I have a stock exhaust he could try out. However I need it back because it is Hicky's and he doesn’t want to sell it, but I doubt he would mind if someone was to use it to diagnose a issue.

I wanna go aftermarket exhaust anyways at some point so I will just wait for now
Bozzz I'm going to swing by after work to your place to get that needle. Also, going to check those above things for ya!
Those parts wear pretty easy so I would think that is probably why he is running under 40. I would also recommend MET weights if his are bad, they make a good improvement on the stock variator.
Also if you haven't already, bump up the tire pressure to 35ish that should also help him move up on speed a bit.

this was the FIRST thing i did, i have ran 35psi since i got it, it still handles and rides great, i was slightly worried that the extra psi would cause it to be twitchy/ no grip, but i love it.
also, ruck was running awesome today for whatever reason
