freddy.... do a search.... i started a couple "what plate would you get" threads that ended up getting some really funny plate ideas.

Brandon: his neg rep didnt do anything to you because i repped you before....and my rep is strong..... very strong.

smokey.... if i ever get the money for a toy...... yours is EXACTLY what i want

edit: i forgot... you cant see the thread if it's blackholed.... do a search in eye candy to see if they deleted it.... if not i'll see what i can do to pull it up for you.

I built it for surf fishing. It does all I need it to do without breaking a sweat. If I was gonna build another one I'd probably do 4" and 35's or 4", cutouts and 37's 0r 38's.

I got mine from here.. http://www.tsmmfg.com/2670.htm

It does add up quickly. The kit is very complete and easy to install..works great. I have cryo treated slotted rotors and hawk pads up front, it stops better than my Corvette.

It took a while to get it "right". At first it was on 38 TSL's, steel wheels and crappy shocks...it rode and handled like shit. It has just about every aftermarket part available. MSD, intake, exhaust, headers, electric cut outs, deep trans pan, shift kit, gears, lockers...I'd love a diesel, but I'm attached to this one. The tires are at the end of their life, 65k mile and 10 years old...I'd put Parnelli dirt grips back on there in a second, but they no longer make them in 38x15.5x16.5. So, I'm in the market for wheels to go with 38x15.5x18 toyo mud terrains.

I have the wheels narrowed down to these two Centerline models...leaning towards the bottom one.

And!!! I finally experienced the infamous death wobble. Now I have to research it and figure out why it does it.

Everything I've read points to the different angles of the trac bar and steering geometry. The one off the pittman arm and the trac bar is the concern. The closer they are to parallel the better, it's the reason for so many drop brackets and adjustable trac bars. I've been though it on my Ford. I couldn't get what I needed to get them closer to parallel with out buying a cross over steering knuckle/ conversion ( big $$ ). The trac bar bushings were wore out, replacing them fixed it for me..until they wear out again.

if those are what i think they are, lol
turd

sounds like a good running truck. a 460 is awesome to, but diesel is contagious.
go with the 37x12.5 humvees, good tires. im still trying to find 16.5x10 wheels but i just havent looked hard enough

SmokeyB : I like those on the bottom also, I think they'd look great on your truck. (and I don't like shiny but they look great).

Caleb : Yeah, that thread had a million great tags in it! It was a really good thread, funny as hell.

elambz : Your girl worked on her vehicle w/ you? That's pretty cool, I had a chick once that tried to. She just got in the way more than anything, but she was there to help.

Death wobble is a bitch to track down, there are so many things it could be. If the ZJ isn't lifted, it does help narrow it down, but not by much.

FOb : LOL!

I don't know if you are going to find 16.5x10, mine are 16.5x9 3/4..... they will be for sale soon. Cheap too....I have 6 of them.

The cut outs keep the rap music at stoplights to a minimum

Overeasy, I don't like shiny either really as I not a fan of cleaning, I'll get them in the satin machine finish, not polished or chrome. There's a lot of new wheels I like, moto metals and such, but I don't like them on my truck. If I had a newer truck, there would be quite a few more wheels on my list.
