Thing was loud as shit, what motors did Countach's have in them?

The Countach was assembled for 16 years from 74-90. the engines evolved from 4 liter to the 5.2 at the conclusion of the run. all were 12 cylinders. They are, in fact, quite a rumble rolling down the street, but by today's standards under powered for the 12s we drive today.
