That's actually how I got introduced to some of the local club guys. I saw a YJ with it's hood up broken down by the Roanoke Civic Center, so I pulled over to see if he needed any help. Generally my instincts do tell me to keep going but for some reason if I see a Jeep or a motorcycle stranded on the side of the road, I stop to help... Now, if it's an accident, that's different. I always stop. You just never know who you're going to run into though!

Anyway, guy ended up having his family with him, and had already called a few other local Jeep guys.. They were on the way. He had just run out of gas. Imagine that--a Jeep's gas gauge reading incorrectly

Yeah, I do the same. I've actually met some pretty cool folks lending a helping hand. Maybe not the safest thing to do but oh well...

^ this kind of stuff is why I respect the 4x4 community so much. It's mostly "good ol' boys" that have no problem lending a helping hand because 1) we've ALL been that guy/girl, 2) we would want someone to help us so it "do unto others..", and 3) it's just the RIGHT thing to do.

Fucking import car seen is nothing like this. People steal from shows/meets, start fights/faggotry, and are just generally fucking tools.

BAM!

I meant to post an updated picture... Not sure if I posted to show my window tint, but I got them done at 20% a while back to match the rear windows. I also blacked out the lettering on the tires. I think I like them better blacked out. Going to be adding lights, armor, hood louver, LiteDOT LED tails, and tube fenders soon I hope. I'm also trying to figure out a way to get some new axles underneath her with a more practical gear ratio. Thinking 4.56 or 4.88, but a lot of that is trying to plan ahead in the event that I'm able to do what I really want to do in the long run. I really want to stretch the wheelbase and do a comp cut rear, but I've also been thinking about getting a cheap roller and starting a buggy build.

As for this one, I'd really like to keep it LCOG. I think the height is almost perfect where it's at right now, but eventually going to a bigger tire (35" at minimum), they're going to get stuffed too easily. Definitely need to do tube fenders and/or highline.

Does anyone know if these center caps are basically universal size? I really don't want to paint these, but they do need to be replaced and I'd like to put some black center caps on the wheels.
