Don't have any pics of stock jeeps but i'll go down the list

Cherokee=XJ
Comanche=MJ
Old wranglers=CJ
Mid wranglers=YJ
Mid-Newer wranglers=TJ. Or LJ for extended wranglers
Brand New wranglers=JK
Older Grand Cherokees=ZJ

There is a trip coming up to Shoe Creek if you are interested. Its posted in the 4x section here. If you can't find it and would like to attend let me know. Sounds like you have a good choice in dogs also!

Hardtop, save money and go to 35's in the winter

I ran 35" baja claws on my old TJ. Had 4 inch shortarm, 2 inch budget boost and 1 inch body. More than enough flex when i was wheeling walker valley in Washington state

this one has 3 inch suspension, (im gonna do a 2 inch budget boost) and it has a 1 inch body on it.... but im thinking 33's would save gas mileage (this is my DD)

I would probably get some 33's cause then you have all summer to save for a hard top. But if you don't think you could save up for one by the time summer is over then go ahead and get the hard top. They are a world of difference in the winter then a soft top.

well im thinking market value.... i can pick up a hard top for around 650 right now.... as opposed to 1000 when everyone wants one around fall.

Well, my old rig got about 12-14 mpg with 4.88 gears. I had swapped to a set of 03 rubi axles front and rear i pretty much stole from a guy who rolled his.
