yeah..for street use, a well designed turbo setup is nice...minimal lag, and good driveability. however, there is still that little thing of lack of throttle response..which can be tuned for, if need be. but it still doesnt have the instant *snap* of a Roots blower...
I think a supercharger is more reliable. No oil plumbing required. No boost creep. The psi of a blower can only be controlled by a pulley. All motor is the most reliable form of power though.

Vortech's are a centrifugal SC. Basically a belt driven turbo. If you look at the Vortech's there really is no full casing hence the "Belt Driven turbo" term. Looks almost exactly like a turbo. I say ATI or Vortech is the way to go as far as SCs go on Mustangs. That's just me though.
I personally sway more towards the turbo side because of the expandability of it. Allows for so much more.
