Default 2 battery changes reported on carfax within 2,000 miles?

Just curious if this should be alarming or anything, but I am currently in the market to buy a newer model sedan. I found a 2008 Altima with 38,193 miles and it is only been owned by one individual. The carfax is 1 owner certified, no accidents, and has had numerous ''required/scheduled maintence'' procedures done throughout the previous owner's ownership.

However, one thing that stuck out to me when reading the carfax was that it says: battery serviced/changed at 11,579 miles. Five months later it says: battery changed at 13,432. Just curious if this is eye opening for anyone? Any possible explanations? I'm going to be purchasing the car from the dealership so the dealer wouldn't know about the battery changes because they all occured when the previous owner had the car (also I asked him about it- he had no idea and said that was "weird")

Thanks for your time.

Could be a mistake. He could have had a defective battery and changed it. But idk why he would lie about that.

Alternator, power draw on the battery, defective battery.

Get the charging system tested and test for a draw... cheap, quick, easy.
