I get destroyed by a stock Mazda3 with Hoosiers, you're not going to be competitive when you first come out- it takes time to dial in the car, tinker with tire pressures, learn how the car heats up and cools down and then you mod once you've reached a point where you can't get faster without the change.

 

I think you mean learn how to drive. Also, a stock 1.6 miata still has 20hp on me from the factory.

rated 106 @ crank accd to Toyota. websites I read claimed 126 on 1.6 miata @ crank. no idea if that's accurate. also no idea what HF is. haven't looked seriously into where I'll be classed. figured I'd just show up and drive.

 

Honda crx hf has like 50hp and 70 ft lbs of torque. I had one last year should have never sold it.
