Cycle whore thread
told you to bring it over that one day and we would have set you up.. you would have been back up and riding about an hour or so...
You wanted to go another route man... nobody to blame but yourself... LOL
You missed a hell of a night out in NN... was fun shit.

I still need a subframe and need to swap lenses off my headlights. And bringing it over is a little more difficult without a trailer or truck lol. I wish I COULD just toss it in the back of the Versa. That would make going to the track a whole lot simpler.
I told you man... I had the entire complete front fork assembly. And that when you were ready.. I had a friend with a ranger that would let me borrow it. We could bring it over to my place and do the swap for you. You told me that you would have to wait till next week when you had the money and that was the last that I heard from you.
Well some of you might remember my rant about riding with this guy that stated "Don't need gear"
Riding on 151 North bound on saturday around 10ish in the morning. We find these set of twisties, and decided to back track and run the road a few times. While I am in full gear (leathers, boots, gloves, ect.) and he is wearing thin jeans and a vega textile jacket with foam padding.
Making the first pass through the 3mile stretch of turns, I jumped in front of him being the more experienced rider and didnt want him in my way. I push it through the first 5 turns and notice I am about 100-150 yards in front of him through the side mirror. 2 more turns and I could not see him any more, now I slowed down dramaticaly hit the next 2 turns and stopped in the middle of the road and waiting 1 min. Proceeded to turn around and back track to him. Well getting back to this sharp turn, there he was with his bike in the middle of the road.
He took the turn to hot, side swiped a Ford Escape SUV, He was making a right hand turn, hit the truck on the left side of the bike. After hitting the truck he low sided on the right, bike grabbed and high sided throwing him over the handle bars then the bike coming to a stop on the guard rail, him laying in the middle of the road.
Only had a cell phone with me and here is the pics.
But one more thing, what really pissed me off being a nice guy. Instead of getting a tow truck to get the bike, he has his family bring a trailer to pick him up. So I sit there from 10:15am until 2:30pm and once the bike was loaded up I made a 2 1/2 hour slag back home. He was an inexperienced rider trying to keep up with me, he had no gear, no form, no skill level for taking those turns at that speed. So I have a new personal rule, no gear, no experience, no common sense, I will not ride with you. If you are apart of the group and decide to fall down for stupid shit, I'm not babysitting you. You just dont bust ass down those roads, with no type of turning experience with no gear/common sense and sit there and blame it on everything else other than the fact that you had no fucking skill.
Dont get me wrong I am glad the dude walked away from the incident and dont wish tradedy on anyone that rides, but damn man, I drove in freezing weather at 6:30 in the morning to get there and enjoy my day, I understand its my fault on riding with squids, and more frustrated at myself for losing my last riding day (hunting season>riding in cold weather) for the year.
/Enough of my rant

The guy he side swipped taking the turn to wide, changing insurance information.

Cleaning up the oil from where his crank case split in pieces.

he had it coming....seriously.... tribal graphics? (kidding)
That looks like a killer road though.
Glad he's ok. I'm not gonna comment on the gear thing... that's been beaten to death here already (I usually ride in dickies, doc martins, and a t-shirt...and in a cage I don't generally wear a seatbelt...sue me, lol). If he's smart, he'll have learned something from the accident, if he's not-so-smart...well....that's what survival of the fittest is about
