Cycle whore thread
although... if this rain doesn't let up, I may be coming by boat :-/
Hey guys so my duke is in the shop right now and I HAVE to get new tires, but the stock rear tire is a 190 and I've always felt that leaning was a bit stiff and when I asked the shop to put a 180 on it he said he wouldn't recommend it...what do you guys think?
I wouldn't know from experience which is nicer to ride which is why I'm asking you guys

I noticed some tires have a U-shape that are stiffer to dive. Like the pilots p2 that are more v-shaped are so easy to lean and transfer but gave an unsafe feel when I was riding on the sidewall.
Don't know why the shop told you that it is not recommended when 999's came and built using 180/55. Only the 1098/1198 are the first production Ducati's to every used 190/55 rears. Is this a Ducati shop?
