Yeah, I will. Guess it's the same as first gear (slipping clutch), but just doing it at 60 vs 35mph is another step. I hear it's not really tough though, so we shall see.
At a low speed... you pop it up and it is easy to completely over shoot it. At a higher speed... the bike lifts a little slower and you are able to compensate to hold it up.

octane is just a gas's anti-knock rating, and higher octane is actually LESS volatile than a lower octane (burns slower). BUT, with real high compression, you need the higher octane to keep it from pinging. Real high compression on low octane fuel causes pre-ignition (mixtures lights off before the spark), and that's the knock or ping you hear, more-so under a heavy load on the motor.
