So, I'm not going to make the meet. My motors rods/bearings blew a hole from the top and bottom near the brake booster line and my motor is done. Anyone know a good place to get a legit sr20det cause the engine i got from jei wasn't worth it.

you think they'll be able to do anything? theres a whole from near the brake booster/starter area to the bottom of the engine. all my oil went everywhere. idk what to do. any ideas on what happened?

 

idk if they could do anything, but I'd give them a call, they're a bunch of good and well informed guys...they might even have another SR laying around the shop...I know they have a LS Juan...just buy that

Connection rod failure? Maybe ur were running to much boost or uber rich and it just went kaboom

i have no idea, havent even been able to check it out yet. im on stock boost 7lbs. i was just cruising at 65 coming back from lynnhaven area then all of a sudden smoke was everywhere. theres a bullet like whole that goes from between my brake boost and start and you can see straight through it to the ground. idk how it happened.
