I can see this kid puffing his chest out when he's bragging about his 400hp 240sx like it's powered by a fucking jet engine. I find it comical that he thinks his little bolt-on DET swap can outrun anything under 750cc's. As much as I would enjoy proving otherwise, I don't see any value gained by doing so, and my bike is sitting in race plastics right now--and will never be tortured by putting it on a drag strip. Certainly not interested in street racing.

If only my car were anywhere close to being done. Should put out more HP than his little 240 and what he claims that WRX puts out combined...

Of course, it has the same number of cylinders as both cars combined...

Tell you what... I'm off Friday and Saturday this week. I'm likely either going to be on the lake all weekend or in DC but I'll bring the new Jeep by so you can check it out.

 

You and me both. It's been probably 10 years since I drove the car. Back then it just had a 355 in it. Not necessarily slow, but probably only putting out 275-300 hp or so. Just got word from Sonny Leonard that our new motor will be done in a couple weeks. Now we gotta get working on the rest of the car to go around it.

I think I saw your Jeep at your work the other night. Not 100% sure...
