start acquiring gear now, a set of gloves there, a boot here, and new lid there, back protector here. before u know it, u will have everything... then u will have no excuse.
Do it all at once and it is prohibitively expensive, do it piece by piece and you wont even notice it.

It's a 250cc with the smallest IHI turbo running at 9-10psi.

With the current exhaust it certainly does sound ridiculous.
