Ran the vert down the 1/4 mile @ VMP
nice job.
i'm pretty sure this would have been a much better show to attend than the va beach show this weekend.. cuz that one was lame.
.. and sounds like no fast cars were there jk.

There were plenty of fast cars.... just apparently the people that chose to take advantage of their "fun run" were either slow, owners couldn't drive, or a combo of the two
Was funny to see a Chevy SSR guy bragging about his LS2 when the announcer asked him about his car then run a mid 15... ugh.

Edit: Oh what the fuck was Chevy thinking about when it made the SSR and the HHR? Those are possibly the two ugliest cars that were made in the past 10 years.

FYI for the fun runs when you pulled up the announcer asked who you were, where you were from, what was done to you car etc. etc. This one guy was quite proud that his SSR had an LS2 vs. the older ones with the 5.3.... he then ran like a 15.5.... was pretty funny.
The host of "Tool Time" would grunt about the 30 percent more horsepower and 22 percent added torque that the '05 SSR picks up from the Corvette-sourced LS2 6.0-liter V-8. With the new Tremec six-speed manual 'box, the 4760-lb SSR will blast to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and through the quarter in the 13.8s, more than two seconds faster than the '03-'04 models.
Yeah they really change the personality of the car... much more Z06ish. With some LTs and a tune the car would probably trap 115-116 which is right there w/ an LS6.
