Anyone know the purpose of the couple numbers written on the inside of motorcycles airbox? Inside my airbox it says "12/10"

Parts came in today for the bike. So I started on the forks. Not to mention the paint has been a 3 day venture in progress. Flushed all fluids, new spark plugs and air filter, new oil filter, but I didnt put the oil back in it yet, because I am thinking about ordering a factory pro shift kit.


Got my T-rex SSSA stand today.



Carbs are being rebuilt and sync'd so the bike will be down for another 2 weeks when they get back from Cali (friend is doing it on his VFR.

520 Chain and sprockets (-1front +2 rear) have yet to arrive

Racetech springs compared to progressive oem. New seals and bushings, 10w fork oil.

 

i did forks on sumone elses zx7 today.... aswell as carbs haha

 

this is my first attempt of doing forks, I thought they were more complicated than what it actually was. pretty simple process.
