VMP is pretty slack with tech. If people can't pass their tech, I wouldn't want to be on the same track as them. VMP only checks basic things.

 

Its pretty much a slapped together unit. Its utilizing a ebay chinese center section and 63 ar exhaust housing, also the ebay exhaust wheel with what I believe is a 57 or 60 turbonetics comp wheel and a turbonetics comp housing. Where are you guys from and have you raced your set up at the track? My set up is also a street car as well..driven to the track put on the slicks and drive home when done. If nothing breaks.

I think that you might have more money in yours than I have in mine. So who is going to what track? Brad and I will be at VMP.... who else is gonna be there?

 

seems to me building a D is more expensive because there arent as many used parts out there

 

All I'ma say is... you got balls for squeezing that chinese t3t4 to 28psi.

A B to me is cheaper and easier to go fast, but to each their own.

 

You'd be surprised. But you will think that it has alotta money in it because its going to spank you lol. just kiddin. I might just head out to VMP...depends on how this weather really is.

 

Got the eagle rods for 100 bucks, pistons with rings 100 bucks ,block 50 bucks, ebayt3t4 got from you like 2 years ago, busted turbonetics turbo 80 bucks,...i could go on and on, hell the car i got for 250 bucks. Trust me guys this is a complete budget build.
In some cases it is. But to have to buy a b motor, tranny ,mounts for a ef, dizzy, the list goes on Ive already paid for the setup im sitting on almost. Not to mention what if the motor or tranny goes for whatever reason aftermarket parts for B's are not cheap either. But to each his own. I wanna see some B setups at the track try me.
