I am just testing waters to see what i could possibly get.
the car is mint nothing at all wrong with it i got the car from a dealer recently still has 30 day tags on it.. title is in hand..SOON WILL HAVE FORGE DIVERTER VALVE

Could maybe do 2000. Given the sludge danger for these years I'd be taking a risk without proven maintenance history. And bov...no please. Let me know if you get more serious and I'll come give the car a once over...

no way this car is flawless when clean. and the stock blow off valve sounds pretty good

Really not concerned with cleanliness, only mechanical. Those particular motors had poorly designed oil pickups and even with perfect oil change intervals and/or synthetic, can develop sludge, starve the engine, seize in worst cases. A friend of mine had a motor go bad at 120k even with religious upkeep. Yes, it is a decent car but this needs to be performed to put me at ease and offering more: http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/sh...light=dropping

ok well im just saying, this is my dd and i tookin it to the saab dealer by my house and got everything checked, and so far everything is good but understand with your concern

thats why im testing waters i only had the car for about a week. im a honda guy but its open air filter ryte now. im still doing some research and idk more than 2k

BOV on this car would throw a cel
its a t7 engine management with a maf, and maf's dont like bov's too much

either way bump for fellow saab owner and glws
