Wheres All Tha Bagged Whips N Roanoke?
Bags do suck, they go against everything I am for when it comes to having a well-setup street car: handling, stiffness, rate-adjustable, etc. The only car i'll own that'll have bags is a Range Rover, Cayenne Turbo, E55 or that sort - something with a factory setup. The E55 handled very well with air suspension, but doesn't even compare to the feel of a car on coilovers.

this... joohazrep

They dont use is not because the technoligy isnt there, but because you can get more performance out of coils/shocks.

Im still wanting to see how well that CL-S will run down a mountian.
Ill bet my little car can out run it. :P
Until you see Air on dedicated performance cars as a performance feature (rather than luxury feature) Coilovers or properly matched springs/shocks will ALWAYS be better and more predictible.

Um Doug, The Cayenne Turbo isnt a car. and its far from teh performance of say a GT2 or even just a run of the mill Cayman.

They use these things as a luxury to adjust ride height not for performance features. Aftermarket companies do the same thing as add ons to the 996/997 cars the Audi R8 and Even Mercedes (and I think some Ferraris) has it stock to allow the driver to raise the car up when they encounter a speed bump or driveway. But as performance, I havent seen a car yet that relys from the factory for performance suspension delivered by air.
