my car is doing that weird idle thing again. Its got a fucking mind of its own. I heard a hissing air noise when I was looking at the motor running today so Im gonna go through as much of the vacuum system as I can tomorrow.

 

shoot it...put it out of its misery....lmao

probably dryrotted vacumm hose...its common on older cars...

 

I want to get rid of it so fucking bad. YOU KNOW THIS lol

 

was wondering what it would roughly cost to have quarter panels replaced on a 68 plymouth, and then painted primer inside and out. i have the metal patch pieces.

also wondering if you can replace glass, front and back windshield. thanks

 

How sure are we that the gaskets put in are the right ones? Still leaking oil from the cover. Next day I have off I'm tearing it down lol

 

they were definately the right ones...

is it the front or back cover??

 

Its the back one, seems to be the problem child lol, at least thats where the oil smoke is coming of the exhaust at. The idle problem still happens but idk why. The car has to be completely warmed up and just sitting still. On both problems it kinda seems like something is contracting or expanding.

 

well it basically is contracting/expanding...thats happens when hot/cold

bring it by when you can and ill look...

maybe the valve cover itself is warped/twisted and letting oil slide by...

just swing by when you can and ill fix it..
