Cycle whore thread
trackday fees themselves range from $140 - $220 depending on the track and organization.
factor in gas and travel expenses, hotel if you dont wanna camp. (only nesba pays camping fees, other orgsl, you pay if the track charges)
Then factor in random bits you usually end up doing before a trackday, like oil changes, fresh rubber, maybe, etc.
one time expenses like leathers a lid less than 5 years old, gaunltlet gloves, boots back protector, can put you well into 4 figures if you buy new, if you buy used, maybe a few hundred.
by no means is it cheap, but cheaper than the average reckless driving ticket and lawyer fees, and way more fun, and safer.

FAQs are usually on each site
there are more trackday organizations around but most are up in the North East or further west, and dont usually mess with any tracks nearby.
stt and tpm push track schools, nesba does not, they are strictly a trackday organization, an ddont use the word school, however they have plenty of control riders that will teach or help you as needed. schools cost more.
no these three will not get you a race license, i think tpm and stt do mock races in some groups, nesba does not.
FYI: if its a timed event and timers are set up by the organization, then your insurance usually wont cover you, anything else can be considered rider training and may be covered.
All thre rent leathers, and boots. all three sell gear to members at a discount.
you dont want to rent gear tho, cause if u wreck it, you bought it.

I'm not trying to race. I'm looking to learn my bike a little more and have fun on the track. I'll hit you up when the weather gets better about raising my shit back up and dialing in my suspension. Most of the gear I'll be buying will be used. My bike needs a serious tune up too, I might as well buy everything and bring it to you. haha. I hate working on shit.
best frame sliders in my opinion, woodcraft, or yoyodyne.
if you bring mad sh1t for me to put on Nick, it wont be free, just saying,
but it wont be what any mechanic or shop would charge you either.
