im 17 and need something so itll pass inspection intead of dumb fuck cops stoppin my for the way it is now, on a POS car anyways, so y not make it worse

If you want, look for a new or used RT muffler. It will bolt into all the stock hangers. You will have to get a reducer because the stock piping is smaller than the RT muffler piping. Sorry I cant remember the size...search on a neon forum or measure it. You will also have to make some half-circle cutouts in the bumper to clear the two outlets. Make a template out of cardboard, traced onto the bumper with a sharpie. Then use a dremel or appropriate tool to cut them. Its a decent looking muffler and is not loud at all but still louder than stock. It will bolt into the stock hangers but you may need to tweak them very slightly to get the muffler centered on the rear bumper.
