I'd say it depends on your riding style. If you ride aggressively and keep it up in the RPMs a lot, I'd change it more often.

Nope, I normally don't go over 12k RPMs. Riding in VA Beach, there is no need for more. By then I'm probably already speeding.



And Thanks for the info, I am just going to go ahead and change the oil.

Are you looking at miles or kilometers? I made that mistake by looking at kilometers in my user manual, but realized the (miles) was below it in parentheses. Damn Japs.

Im pretty sure it was in miles, but i'll have to double check now that you said something.
Im still going to change the oil reguardless payday!
