I along with many many many riders have been running synthetic for years.

 

Hmmpphhh. Where do you guys purchase your oil? I know you can get it at dealerships, but I'm wondering if other places sell it cheaper? I know Napa sells 10w-40 Royal Purple for like $15 a quart, but I'm not looking to spend that much again for an oil change.

Where could I get Mobil 1 or Amsoil motorcycle oil besides ordering online?

You also never want to use an engine oil for a motorcycle because unlike a cars engine, a motor cycles oil lubricates the engine, transmission and wet clutch. Car oil has some friction modifiers in it and if used in a bike, this could, not always will cause clutch slippage.

 

Let's just say, there's a reason why they're separated lol.

 

the factual information is it sucks, the best thing to lube your engine is with air, is has an almost zero resistance coefficent.

Oh yeah, I only run synthetic in mine too. Like jake said, one of the few things you don't really want to skimp on. At least, I wouldn't anyway.
