The motor ran before i started pulling it out. i didnt check the compression but i should have but i didnt feel like puting the head back on to do so. i cranked the motor over with the head off and check all cylinders for any cracks and didnt see any. i brought the pistons up to top dead center and press on them to make sure i couldnt push the pistons down with my hand and i couldnt. so everything seems to be checking out good
