excuse me if im mis-informed, but 99% of the 302's I see that have "Cobra 5.0" upper and lowers on them, mean they have :

Stock heads
Stock Cam
Stock valvetrain
Stock Intake


5.0 heads and everything above it flowed like shit from the factory. Cobra intakes are pretty mediocre compared to some of the others on the market.

But like I said, I may be mis-informed, correct me if im wrong please.

 

Well, that one seems to have some scripting on the heads that say "Edelbrock". Im not sure that Ford ever produced a head that had someone elses trademarked name on, but I could be mistaken.

 

Oh. Ok. I just didn't know you were making a blanket assumption. But it looks like it has Victor Jr. heads, so I guess flow won't be a problem there. It's just the total lack of L28 and Webers this Datsun will suffer from.

 

I still see a cobra intake. How much better do they flow compared to a commonly used GT40?? Why not go with an edelbrock or Trick flow Intake? Just curious.
