Hopefully that new oil pan will do the job... VW's oil pans sit so low, I remember my friend hitting a raised manhole and ripping not only the oil pan up, but part of the block off.

yeah, i usually don't have that problem, as the oil pans on MKIV's are just soft aluminum, i tap anything with it and that shit explodes lol

You do realize many of them sit level with the "frame rails" (whatever they are really called). I know my URAS did on my S13. It just made the car look as low as it really was.
