Blasphemy? An LS2 in an S2K

So what do you all consider to be a good sounding engine, anything with vtec?

It's a good thing Le Mans only consists of the Mulsanne Straight otherwise the car would have been in real trouble.
How many victories does the S2000 have in its class at Le Mans again? It's tough to keep track of.
Back on topic, sorry for semi-jacking thread.
I agree 100%. Carroll Shelby really messed up the handling when he yanked the little 2.0 liter out of the AC Ace and dropped in that big old Ford 289 and 427.

Every single S2000 that has ever started at Le Mans has won.
The weight distribution is 49F and 51R in 100% stock form, this is partially achieved by placing the entirety of the motor behind the front wheels. When you throw in the LSX you change that weight distribution, cut out structural braces, etc.
If you want something fast in a straight line it's cool, but I bought the car for its abilities around corners. When I want more power I'll supercharge it, until then I have all the power I need for what I do with it.

that shyt is sexy. unique is always good no matter how you go with it (as long as you go up that is). inspires new ideas and conversations.
even thought there are prolly multiple ways they could have gone with it, a V-8 swap in an S2K was the next logical step. what... with these ricers stuffin V-6 Vtec motors into civics, they had to do SOMETHING! lol
i love seeing a motor absolutely crammed into the engine bay!
