I was clickin threw zilvia.net and came across a guy in CA sellin a Kaizo S15. Thought maybe its some sort of special edition thing like a Tommi Makinen Evo. So i search and come to find out its a company in japan that takes the unibodys of Skylines and Silvias and remanufactures them for US sale as a rolling chassis only. From there I read a few other sites of people debating the legitness of it.

Seems stupid, it is really easy to smuggle a real one over for much cheaper.


Or don't smuggle anything and just bring one over for track use....since that is more fun anyway.

Depends on what car you want to get? I've seen some Tommi Makinen Evos, R32, R34 kaizo cars for sale.

 

If it was in ref. to my question then we will go with R34, but eveyone is also nutz over them

 

Ya i beleive i read in import tuner last month about this. The r34 from Fast and Furious was brought over by this company and the motor was swapped in over here etc.

 

Not sure how much they go individually but I did see a kaizo S15 with no motor go for 25k
