if they are pressed into the control arms, and you are literally trying to replace the ball joint then yes, if you dont have a press. If ford built the control arms with fixed ball joints then it wouldnt be bad, just replace the arms/done.

Its literally replacing the ball joints in the control arms upper & lower. I purchased them and just waiting on them to come in.
