Default Fastest track

Between the three witch would be the fastest track and why; Motor Mile Dragway,Natural Bridge,Elk Creek.
Another question, I ran an 8.68 at the track last friday with a 2.18 60' at 83mph and want way more, say a half of second, I want to install my meth injection kit and get retuned for about 20 more hp and tq with the addition of racefuel, How would that affect my track times, is there a formula to convert whp into et. I also plan to put a 3.5k stall on my ride so I can launch better. I'm also running DR's so I hook pretty decent. My goal is to break into the 7's or get as close as I can. I'm also running a 3.27 in the rear in a 8.8.

About how many times have you been to the track?

I think you'll see the best results by improving the nut behind the wheel first.

My WRX was .02 away from being in the 7's with my bad driving (at NB), so I would think you wouldn't have any problem getting into the 7's once you get the launch down...

BTW, did you say the car you're racing is an automatic V6 Mustang? Wouldn't it be more cost effective to do a swap if you're looking to run 7's? Insurance would still be a V6 premium.

I LOVE my corny jokes. And the more Jewish, the better.

My thoughts exactly. Mustang on drag radials should be down in the 1.7s, especially if it's an auto. Best thing to do is to go up to any of the tracks on an Open Saturday, right when the gates open in the morning, and you'll have it all to yourself for about 4-6 hours. Get in 30 passes and you'll be good to go.

And the street and the strip are two completely different worlds, so practicing to launch on a dead end road won't be all that useful when you pull up to the lights.

Eventually I will swap, but for now I just want to have fun with what I've got. I know I need practice at the track, going back this weekend to try again. I would have got to run more last week but I pulled a wire loose from my tp sensor while I was under the hood and the car ran like crap, didnt find it til the next day.
