Second annual VAD Spring meet (new updated location)
good meet... the bad thing is only 3 rx7s, even worse mine was one and the other one i just sold was there so only 1 rx7 ive never seen. yep got some sun too
What a shit fucking day (for me)...
I caught up with some of the Richmond subies at the New Kent rest area and headed down with them. When we got off at the Lowes I noticed a little smoke come from under my hood. I checked and there was a little coolant, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from or if it was just the reservoir overflowing. So I just figured I'd keep an eye on it, it wasn't overheating at the time.
When we came out of the tunnel I noticed I was running a little hotter than normal, but it stayed the same until 64 turns into VA Beach. When we stopped at the light I decided it was too hot and pulled over. 3 hours of limping around (in a city I don't know and without tools) and a new radiator hose later (cracked), I was back in business.
By the time I got there it was only about 70 cars left. I walked around for 20 minutes and took pics and talked to a few people. I didn't know anyone that was left and all the Subaru guys had already left, so I decided to head home too.
Fucking cop got me for my exhaust on my way out of the neighborhood. I expected to get a ticket at some point, but it pisses me off that he just camped right there knowing that he could pull pretty much anyone that came through. LOL, he didn't even really talk to me. He just asked for my license and reg, then said he's GIVING me a ticket for my altered exhaust, came back 5 minutes later and told me to sign it and gave me my stuff back. At least he didn't waste any of my time though.
EDIT: FUCK!!! I could cry after seeing all the cars in the pics.

It was awesome seeing everyone today! Caught up with some people I havn't seen since last meet, met some new faces, and put faces to some names.
Thanks to everyone that made donations again, because of everyone's generosity, next meet is gonna be even more awesome.
