"IF" the car is built right a cam only f-body can run in the mid 10's in the 1/4.

 

Driving and traction, are two other "IF" 's.

 

Yeah so can a lot of cars, but we've already ruled out traction and driver - like ben stated... So it's still a 12 second car most likely, 11s at best.

He'll need nitrous to get him anywhere, and at that point we still won't give two shits about it... And neither will his tires as they just sit there spinning.

 

You mean cam with all possible bolt-ons, slicks, a driver, and a lot of weight reduction. Agreed.

 

^not necessarily... i know a full weight, full bolt on ceta, with an MS4 in it that runs mid 10's... but yea you are right, they are the exception rather than the norm...

 

Yeah, I'd say since my 2800 lb. LS1 RX-7 only ran mid 10's with the same stuff.

 

the biggest issues are the tune and the driver...

 

We know that variable is crippling in this situation haha. At least worth +2 seconds on the time a normal/good driver would run heh
