Need Advice On Bmw Purchase
my very limited knowledge....
-buy used,as said above.these cars lose value bad enough as is,why be the person that takes the huge initial hit?
-if you're really set on a certain setup,i believe BMW offers a program to build a car to your specs.of course,i'm sure you'd have a lot less wiggle room on price if you're special ordering a car.i can't se them having issue with changing wheels.also keep in mind that there are plenty of low priced(Rota equivalent)wheel options for BMWs that look very good.
-do you plan to mod it?i believe there's some deal with the 135/335 ECUs that basically make them unmoddable(at least while retaining a warranty).the earlier '08s have the ECU that's easier to deal with.do some research on this-i've only heard second hand talk of this,so i'm not very well informed on it-i just know about old, cheap BMWs.....hopefully in 15 years i'll own a 335.

Ok for those of you who have never bought a bmw before.
1. most dealerships, the cars price is it, no haggling, no hassle, unless they are really hurting for sales...
2. (this may be years ago, but) most people pay cash, so that wont help the price.
3. and they will rarely switch the wheels out for you, but if they do it probably wont help the cost of the car.
and that seems like an ok price for what you are looking for, but there was a used one floating around on here with low miles for like 30 something with almost the same options. check into it.

Unfortunately, depreciation is insane right now also. So getting a good deal doesn't mean much if the price of the car slides really, really fast. A good deal is only a good deal if what you're buying retains its value. This goes for pretty much all car brands right now though.
This will be my first new car purchase. Let me know what you guys think about price hope some of you guys here may work at a dealership and let me know.

2.) Cash or finance, dealership don't really care. If you pay cash they can't make as much money on the back end of the deal, so alot of time with financing on new cars they can be more aggressive on the front.
3.) they definately won't unless you pay for the new wheels.

....
Never again.
How do you know he doesn't own a home?
How do you know he doesn't make 100k+ a year and to him $50k is equivalent to $20k to you?
Just sayin.
