Nissan GTR VSPEC Announced 170K??
the GTR fanboys dissappeared quick.
if only nissan hadnt rushed with it, done some reliability testing, etc. might have been a nice car.
I may even get rid of my bimmer for a 370Z

It's a prestige car, that's all there is to it. There's nothing wrong with that. Most of the supercars and expensive luxury cars sold in the world are sold for prestige and nothing else, so they're as much of a waste of money as an overpriced GTR. Any car with that level of performance at that level of price is not usually sold for the performance, and the performance or construction quality don't really put it into supercar land. I'd want to feel like a got a lot more for my $170k than just a factory tuned GTR.
I'm too practical of a person to be a good exotic (or just plain expensive, in this case) car owner.

What type of reliability testing are you refering to sir?
The car went through quite a bit of testing. Much more than the 370z.
