well I had it in the trunk off my 03 impala an it was decent it kinda reminds you of a bazooka tube a little bit an the good part is its self powered so no amp required but yea its a good starter woofer especially if you don't want to run wires for amp but I have the harness that goes to it still connected in my impala so I can demo it an if you like it I will just snip 4 wire harness out an explain to you how to hook up (power/ground/speaker wires/signal wire) a lot similier to wiring amp but less work
