Street tires only. I have stock diffs everywhere. If I hook, they'll break. I don't expect anything better than a 1.8 60ft. I plan on trying to use my launch control but Kienan thinks it'll make me slower... so we'll see.

I will be happy with an 11 second slip and being able to drive the car up on the trailor. The car is quite capable of running faster than an 11.99, but if I make that pass without breaking anything, I'm done. I'm more interested to see what the car will trap on C16.

Yeah... I'll have to turn the boost down and add some fuel more than likely.

Yeah I hear ya. Im the same way, but with 12s. If i break 12s on the first run, Im done.

I have plans that I need to get on for next year, and I kinda need the car in fine working order until then, lol.

 

If my motor goes at the track next friday... I'll have tons of parts for sale cheap, lol. Next build will entail a 2.7-2.9, a 4088, and a missing foglite.

 

Lol, good stuff...if it does go, you need to rethink how you build the next one, lol.


Just try not to over rev/go into the wonrg gear, and I think you should be good.

 

Things are starting to look promising for me. I recently purchased another Z! Decided to take the engine out of it and put it in my Z to be able to attend with my Z instead of my bike. The engine looked pretty bad when I got it, but I am making it look pretty decent before it goes in.
It was really rough looking. Didnt get any pictures of it in the car but it looked horrible.



Upon tearing it down it looks like the engine has been rebuilt. So I called the guy and he said the owner before him had built the motor! Only had about 4k miles on the rebuild, with forged pistons!!! I am kinda stoked about it right now. The cams and everything are super clean!


Here are some recent pictures. It is not finished yet. but it will be. Eddie helped me pull the engine out on Friday! And is coming tomorrow to help me again! He loves my car! LOL...






Now I will just need tires!!!!

 

Congrats man.... So with the new engine being forged, what kinda numbers are looking to get? How much power can those stock turbos produce?

 

It was awhile ago but I was told that stock turbo's wont do more than 350whp... IIRC

 

hes not running the stock turbos. He should be putting out between 480-550whp depending on the tune
