from the looks of it. Its nothing more than a paint marker. or, shoe polish. should come off with ease. Unless they know how to make it chemically adhere to the paint. than paint will be your only option to fix it.

I don't know what it is exactly, but it looks like one of the two things you said. I got most of it after the cop left with alcohol. Now the paint looks stained, like chemically adhered as you mentioned.

 

noooooooooooo not alcohol!!! you should have used some rubbing compound and wax, and it woulda came right off. alcohol is too harsh for the paint it can eat your clear coat up

If it came off w/ alcohol. then most likely it was nothing more than shoe polish. since you have clean most of it up. something like a mild rubbing compound and / or a clay bar should help bring the rest of it out.

Sucks that it happened. ut look on the bright side. after you clay bar your car. it will look even better.

 

hey man drive it over this afternoon, i got nothin' going on after say 6. i'll put my arsenal of products on it and i got some white out if nothing else.
