Obama will be in Downtown Newport News today around noon. I was thinking of going but I can't make it anymore because I already had plans. People with free time should go check him out though.

Here are the details:

Change We Need Rally
with Barack Obama

Victory Landing Park
23rd St. at the James River
Newport News, VA 23607

Public Entrance: 23rd St. and Harbor Rd.
There will be no access to 23rd St from West Ave. Please use Huntington Rd.

Saturday, October 4th
Doors Open: 10:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required but an RSVP is encouraged. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For security reasons, do not bring bags and please limit personal items and umbrellas. No signs or banners permitted.

oh lord. Not getting my vote, but hopefully everything goes good for him out there. Itd be a shame for something like a fight or something stupid to happen in our area
